A 60th birthday card for a tennis fan...

Recently, I was asked to make a 60th birthday card for a lady who was a tennis fan. 

For this card I used a scalloped edge card base and my trusty grass backing paper, and then used some images I found online that were traditionally Wimbledon.  In a set of embellishments I got in a Create and Craft goody bag I had a bottle of champagne and also some tennis racquets, so used them to frame the sentiment, which was typed on my computer, using a free font I downloaded called Scoreboard.

A quickie get well card

Sometimes you need a card in a hurry, and don't have a lot of time to spend on the topper. 

This is when pc crafting comes into it's own.  If you are really pushed, you can use a scrapbooking programme like My Memories and create your card completely and then just print it out, or you can print out the "bits" you need to make the card from one of the many resources cds that are available.

For this quick get well card, I printed off an already coloured in image from the Double Sprinkles of Kraft cd from Polkadoodles, which was simply matted onto pink cardstock and  a touch of bling provided by some glitter glue on the flowers.  I used some "googly eyes" on the owl and to finish off, silver peel off letters were used to create the greeting.

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 65 - Easter

What could be nicer, then, than a happy bunny with some eggs?  For this card I raided my stash - for backing paper, ribbon and the buttons.  I used a stamp from (I think) Papermania which was coloured in with promarkers.
